Alba House was aboriginally a merchent's cottage in the mid 19th Century. It features all the distinctive has of that era - high ceilings, ornate plaster cornice, spacious staircase and ample apartments. Nowadays it features been adapted for everyday use as a very cozy hotel, with adjacent bathrooms. However, the spell of its Victorian past features not been lost. Alba House calm holds the commodious bedrooms, vast windows and luxurious social apartments. It also holds its attractive park - an oasis of trnquility near downtown, and extremely much delighted by our dear guests during all the year. Car parking in Edinburgh's downtown is everytime a problem. We advise that clients leave the auto in our carpark and use the extremely frequent bus srevice from just outside the door. It's by far the easiest way to discover the town. A day ticket able to be purchased on the bus and lasts 24 hours a day ,giving freedom to discover and get to the less accessable sights! Your hosts, the Gallagher Family, have been hospitable visitor to Edinburgh for the last twenty-five years and are extremely qualified in providing 1st class client facilities. Being locals, they also know quiye a bit approximately Edinburgh, and are glad to share this knowledge with their customers.
