Hospitable traditonal countryside hotel in short distance to Scotland's biggest undercover shopping and relaxation heart in East kilbride. East Kilbride features a lot of local sights including Village Theatre, Golf Courses, Ten Pin Bowling, Ice Skating, Odeon Cinema and is only seven miles from Glasgow downtown. Built in 1773 by General Stuart of Torrance as a cotton-spinning mill and workers' houses the structure in Torrance Square provided a focus for city life. In its a lot of incarnations the popular Torrance Hotel features also housed a school, a boutique and a Coaching Inn, but it features everytime been at the centre of East Kilbride. The structure features retainained all its original character and fascination. We have 20 ample bedrooms including the recently renewed Honeymoon Suite for 2007.
