Grange Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast Dunfermline

General Information

Farmstead Farmhouse is embedded in farm land one mile south of Dunfermline with an open outlook towards the River Forth. Initially the premises was settled as a 'ferm toun' which supplied farm make to the monks of Dunfermline Abbey back in the 12th and 13th century. The cottage was constructed in the mid 19th century and ceased to be part of a working farm in the 1960s; it features been converted into a family home and during the last 20 years we have stretched the premises and redecorated the inside to a high standard of comfort and convenience. We provide an option of 2 double bedrooms, a family apartment for 4 people and a twin bed apartment. All suites are on the ground floor and are accessed by stairs. All rooms in the hotel have an open outlook to the park and the rural area behind. 3 apartments offering a range of lodging to suit your needs. The apartments are equiped with a hairdryer, kettle, freeview flatscreen tv, DVD player, DVDs, clock radioalarm and a choice of books. Board toys are available on the occasion of a demand. Central heating is installed in the bedrooms, bathroom and en room apartment. Breakfast is catered in the breakfast room from 7am till 9am, or earlier by arrangement. Try our purple fruit compote ready using berries picked from the garden; we also recommend a taste of honey from nectar collected by our bees.

By auto :- In Dunfermline find and follow Elgin St. to Grange Road which heads south towards Rosyth; at the 40 mph speed restriction sign, go LEFT direct along gravelly track, ignore right hand fork, 90 degree right hand turn, cottage on the left.
