General Information

Strathview is owned and operated by Tom and Mary Semple who propose you a sincere welcome to their fine home. The apartments are pleasingly embellished and kept to a high standard. Double, twin, and/or family suites are on provide all of which have en-suite wc and shower amenities. Every room is furnished with facilities of making tea/coffee with self-sufficient to vista satellite color televisions, radio alarms, hair dryers and wireless internet connections. Iron and ironing board are offered as is drying amenities for those damper days. All suites are on the 1st floor there is ample off highway car parking and dry safe storage for cycles, motor-bikes etc is obtainable. Smoking is not allowed interior the cottage but park furniture is supplied for the use of our dear guests. We do not have a license to sell alcohol however you're welcome to bring your own and glasses are offered in the bedrooms for this.

Sutherland proposes a landlord of park amusements for the discerning treveller, amazing landscape for painters, photographers and walkers, award winning beaches for windsurfers or just building sand-castles. If you fancy a more challenging stroll than the coast there are some pleasant woodland and hill strolls in the region in addition to a world class mountain bike trail. Ornithologists are well served for with official sites but there are many viewing regions just off the beaten track. For the wildlife enthusiast there are seals, deer, birds, dolphins, etc. Fishing in local lochs, heritage everywhere you look from the antique to the more contemporary. Architecture and persons tell the stories, specially heart-rending in the case of the infamous “Highland Clearances”. Play hole golf at Dornoch Struy Course or the more well-known Royal Dornoch, at Golspie, Brora, Helmsdale, Bonar Bridge, Tain, Portmahomack, Allness, Invergordon and more. There’s no shortage of challenging courses in the Highlands. Fishing at the trout farm at Dornoch Lochans, or river, loch and sea fishing are all on propose here, permits, where required, able to be purchased locally.
