Thatched state house hotel in the center of Thomas Hardy state, about halfway between his birthplace and Max Gate, where Hardy died. The restaurant and hall have exposed beams and inglenook fireplaces, whilst the bedrooms have up-to-date facilities including, Wifi, color televisions and DVD players, direct-dial telephones and en-suite bathrooms with both bath and shower. The hotel's restaurant caters prime food and reasonably priced wines in a loosen and simple ambience. Yalbury Cottage is next to the World Hertiage Coastal stroll and is encircled by gorgeous countyside. It's the best ground for many sights and attractions.

Transportation

From London take take the M3, then the M27, then the A31 and then the A35 to Dorchester. Turn Left at Cuckoo Lane Junction to Higher and Lower Bockhampton. After about 1 mile you'll come to a crossroads, go direct across and Yalbury Cottage is 400 m on left.
