Rosemundy Cottage provides a capacious, cosy and relaxing base for a weekend break in Devizes or longer vacation in Wiltshire. Down a short lane, the wisteria covered facade is alongside the Kennet and Avon Canal. The good house is a short, level stroll to the Market Place either by towpath or highway. It's well located for observing the sights, being within a short distance of a lot of treveller park amusements. Alternatively, watch the narrow boats go by from the lonely top courtyard or feed the ducks from the canal side verandah. Rosemundy Cottage proposes a high standard of comfort in all apartments and consists of a visitor office and living room with satellite television. The breakfast room features an open hearth and joins the quiet living room which opens out onto a sunny courtyard and the enclosed park behind which features a summer months cottage, conservatory, swimming pool (heated in summer) and shaded sitting region. Visitors are welcome to use the barbeque on warm summer months in the evenings. Breakfast at recreation in classical English fashion - fruit juice, cereal, fresh fruit and then an option of recently cooked items followed by honey and homemade bread, marmalade or jam, with tea or coffee of your choice. Peculiarities comprise honey from Devizes and airy duck eggs from close to Lacock. Rosemundy Cottage uses local make and features the Wiltshire Breakfast Award.
