General Information

Located just 2 miles south of the market place city of Devizes, Blounts Court Farm is situated on the edge of the countryside of Potterne. Embedded in 200 acres of arable farmland, we back onto forests with the countryside cricket field to the back of the cottage. The world history sites of Stonehenge and Avebury are 15 mins by auto, Lacock (the tv series Cranford to name but one was filmed here) is also 15 mins by auto and Bath & Salisbury able to be reached in thirty minutes. A lot of National Trust properties are on the doorstep including the wonderful gardens of Stourhead. Longleat House and Safari Park is also closeby. We also have the enviable situation of being short distance to the countryside social cottage (pub) which serves local ale and meals. All our nice bedrooms have been personally styled to enhance our guests' stay to Blounts Court Farm. We provide en-suite double, twin and single suites (all with crisp, quality linen and fluffy towels), privately-owned visitor living room and because we appreciate our dear guests like to come and go as they please, have their own entry. All our lodging is situated on the first floor. The cordiality trays comprise different teas (green, fruit etc.), coffee both caffeinated and decaffeinated, hot chocolate and a jug of fresh drinking water (as we try to support sustainable touring we do not believe in using bottled water). All rooms in the hotel have flat screen television/dvd players with freeview and have Wi-Fi broadband access for visitors bringing their own computer. All in all, the main basis for guests or work clients alike with ample secure car parking. We are very priviledged to have been presented a five YELLOW STAR award with the AA (which means we are one of the upper 10% lodging providers in the country).
