Hill View Cottage is an ideal two bedroom, stone built house in the very heart of Corbridge, Northumberland. The 3-star, self catering house features been softly renewed by its proprietors retaining its original has. The living room is roomy with 2 two seater sofas and a dining desk which seats 6. The inglenook hearth and electric stove are a feature of the apartment. There is a double apartment with cast iron hearth and a smaller 2nd bedroom with bunk beds. The original sash windows remain in the facade of the site, secondary double glazing helps to keep the site tranquil and warm. There is a shower room/wet suite downstairs and the kitchen is little but functional with new units fitted in early 2007. To the back of the site there is a little enclosed courtyard district with desk and chairs seating four people. This locality is south-facing and is perfect to sit enjoying the sunshine during the warmer months. Its serene location in Corbridge is unbeatable. The house is next to a sixteenth century church and in front of the ‘Off The Wall’ gallery. Within short distance are facilities such as boutiques, cafes, restaurants and pubs. There is also a number of food boutiques, such as butcher, baker, fishmonger and a fruit and vegetable boutique in case you decide to chef. Whether you want to venture a small further, Northumberland features much to explore: quaint countrysides, astonishing seaside resort cities and quiet village. The house is perfect for strolling, cycling or ambling around.
