cDamson Cottage is a homely B&B constructed from conventional Wiltshire stone, with the oldest part of the house dating back some 250 years, and located in the imposing hamlet of Reybridge close to Lacock only 8 miles from blend 17 of the M4. The cottage is embedded in gorgeous grounds with paddocks for our horses and chickens. The house features vistas across fields which have cattle and horses grazing in, and we are encircled by delightful village in an unspoiled and picturesque position. We are just 1 minute from the river Avon, and have a lot of footpaths not far from so you are able to enjoy relaxing strolls, or you are able to sit outside in our beautiful garden and enjoy a glass of wine (weather permitting!). We have 3 visitor suites accessible, all nicely decorated with flat screen TV’s and DVD players, we are also can propose independent Wi-Fi. Each room is equipped tea/coffee making amenities, with locally sourced biscuits for those of you with a sweet tooth! We also supply complimentary toiletries for all of our dear guests. The countryside of Lacock and the Medieval cloistered Abbey is directly a ten minutes stroll away. Lacock is a uniquely conserved 18th century countryside and features been owned by the National Trust since 1944, and small features changed in the past 2 hundred years. The countryside brags three pubs and a very proper restaurant, all serving food and we would be delighted to produce a booking for you. Lacock is also known as the home of photography as William Henry Fox Talbot, the inventor of the negative, lived at the Abbey. Over the past 15 years Lacock and the Abbey have featured in several film and TV productions including Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice and more lately, Cranford. The Roman City of Bath is an simple ten mile drive or one stop on the train from Chippenham. There are a lot of other places to stay within half an hour’s drive Dyrham Park, Bradford on Avon, The Courts at Holt, Avebury Stones, Corsham Court. Further a field, within an hour is Stonehenge,
