General Information
We'd love to invite you to our 200 year antique Inn that now brags 6 stylish and individual suites plus 2 fully serviced two bedroom cottages all converted with loving attention from the original barns and house buildings. As we are grade two listed we have a rather quirky feel everything is incomparable and everything is individual. We believe in one of the best so our sheets are nicely laundered in crisp white cotton and all our furniture and accessories - a mix of old and modern are chosen to suit every room. We dont have themes because we dont believe we need them but as you'll find out the suite names and numbers are related to their individual fashion. Leather armchairs and widescreen tvs abound and surely every room is equipped with its own bathroom with power showers and big baths. Unique toiletries and bathrobes go without saying. Our Food draws persons from all over, the Modern British carte menu proposes classy renditions of pub classics such as Beer Battered Cod and Hand Cut Chips or 28 day aged Sirloin Steak with home made Bearnaise, plus we use local ingredients - Selsey Crab and Diver caught scallops to establish dishes with a up-to-date twist. Do look on our website for our current carte menu which changes each pair of months. The daily blackboard specials focus on seasonal dishes reflecting what is obtainable and these change every day. Well behaved kids are welcome and we will happily give smaller portions to suit. Around and approximately Chichester Festival Theatre is ten mins away as are Goodwood, West Dean House and Gardens, Chichester Town and Cathedral, the gothic market place city of Midhust, Petworth and Uppark. The Sussex Coast with the Witterings nature reserve is approximately 25 min dirve so why not build up an appetite with a marvelous stroll along the coast!
