The Moorings Luxury Hotel is lodged away facing the West Durham Hills. We are a family run work offering the perfect combination of conventional fascination and present-day comfort lodging and dining. We have a bar-bistro offering conventional British fair and an a al carte restaurant providing a more formal ambiance with just prepared food specialising in locally reared meat and fish fresh from the surrounding Hendon Docks. We able to accomodate customers from the work community or equally persons searching for a break and a special reason. We have 2 apartments with privately-owned open-air hot tubs to treat your loved ones. We are conviently located at access all districts of the area, only several miles to Newcastle, Durham and Sunderland. This is an exquisite peaceful location to enjoy an unspoiled escape.
