General Information

Green Gables is a pleasing Victorian cottage, located in a tranquil residential district, yet only fifteen mins stroll from the many attractions and shopping amenities of Chester. Set within its own nice park, the cottage proposes 1st-class lodging, with the style and facilities you would expect from a high-class hotel. Arrive as a visitor, leave as a friend. Our cottage is embedded in a charming and privately-owned park with safe parking amenities within the grounds for visitors arriving by auto. Undercover storage for bicycles is also provided. We have a charming, breakfast room where we cater breakfast between seven and 9 am, while our sumptuous living room is the ideal place to sit and unwind at the end of the day. An option of English and Continental breakfast is catered in the dining room. A distinctive carte menu also consists of fruit juice, a range of cereals, toast, an option of jams, honey and marmalade, tea and coffee. Specific dietary needs able to be served for whether requested beforehand. Our nice bedrooms are easy and decorated with taste, with en-suite amenities, tea and coffee-making equipping, Freeview TV, trouser press and Wireless Internet Connection for visitors with their own laptop. Customers have access to the cottage at any time of the day and we maintain a strict no-smoking policy. No dogs are allowed except guide dogs. As able to be expected from an establishment with a four star grading by the AA, our standards of cleanliness are greatly high, and we are proud of ourselves on maintaining the highly highest levels of amenities. So much so that plenty of of our dear guests return year after year, while our landlady Mrs. Dorota Perruzza, was a upper 20 finalist in Landlady of the year 1995!

Green Gables is precisely 15 mins amble from Chester downtown. Whether hiking by auto, follow the sign for Countess of Chester Hospital (A5116 Liverpool Road). Turn directly at the third foot passenger set of traffic lights into Eversley Park. We are the last cottage on the left.
