The Royal Station Hotel is located in small market place city of Carnforth across the highway from the ancient train station, great as the setting for the Noel Coward film ‘Brief Encounter’. The Lake District National Park, the Yorkshire Dales, the historic town of Lancaster and Morecambe Bay are all within hiking distance of this 19th century Victorian hotel. The hotel's twelve adjacent bedrooms all with TV, trouser press, tea & facilities of making coffee and straight dial telephones propose extensive, well-equipped lodging, if it's for a night, a weekend or a month. The Lounge Bar proposes a big variety of conventional pub meals both at lunchtimes and evenings, with a specials board and an OAP carte menu at snack times from Monday to Friday.
