General Information

The proprietors, Christine and Duncan Weston are constantly on hand and pride themselves on offering a top quality amenities with a lounging and familiar atmosphere which features seen customers from both overseas and the UK want to return. Our cottage was authentically built in the late 1800's and was indigenously owned by a Duke as an extensive family cottage. In new years we have made some important refurbishments to propose an prime standard of lodging for visitors. We have taken attention however to ensure the character and a lot of original Victorian has have been renewed and retained. Kids are constantly welcome. We also allow pets by prior arrangement but respectfully ask that they are not left unattended in the cottage. If visiting the Great Border City on work or for joy and how ever long your visit we guarantee a sincere welcome and a soothing visit.

Transportation

By Car Warwick Road is the major highway into Carlisle off combination 43 on the M6 motorway. From the roundabout at M6 combination 43 follow the signs for Carlisle and head direct on towards the downtown and train station. This takes you past the Tesco supermarket and Carlisle United soccer ground. You'll come to a set of traffic lights with an extensive church (St Aidans) on the right hand side. Keep in the left hand lane heading towards the downtown. You'll see our sign about 200yards further on the right after the church. From railway station From the major entry stroll direct ahead and across the major highway with foot passenger lights. Keep heading direct for about 200 yards; you'll stroll along a crescent of boutiques with the antique court buildings to your left. Take your 1st directly at the end of the crescent. You're now on Warwick Road and need to stroll for about 10 minutes and we are on the left hand side. From bus station Turn left on to Lonsdale boulevard. Wander to the end of Lonsdale Street, turn right and then 1st left on to Warwick Road. Stroll along Warwick Road for about 5 min and we are on the left hand side.
