How to reach usBy roadCambridge is well catered by local and national highway networks. From London or Stansted Airport, the M11 provides the majority straight route. From the north the A14 brings traffic from the A1(M) to the north of Cambridge. The west and east are catered by the A14 running from close to Birmingham to Felixstowe. From M11 Northbound Exit Junction 11 onto roundabout above M11 Take 3rd exit off this roundabout signposted to Cambridge A1309 Follow highway through to Trumpington countryside Take right-turn signposted A1134 (towards Addenbrookes, Rosie Maternity Hospital, Airport and Cherry Hinton) into Long Road At the base of Long Road turn left at the traffic lights into Hills Road At the following set of traffic lights (ignore all the Pelican crossings) turn right into Cherry Hinton highway. The 2nd turning on your left is Rustat Road. Abbeyfield Guesthouse is the 1st cottage on the right hand side at number two. From North or West (A14) Eastbound Exit A1 at Alconbury on A14 towards Cambridge A14 merges into the M11 Southbound. Follow M11 to Junction 11 Exit Junction 11 onto roundabout above M11 Take first exit off this roundabout signposted Cambridge A1309 Then as M11 Northbound directions From A14 Westbound Take exit off A14 signposted Cambridge and Burwell Take first exit (A1303) off the roundabout above the A14 Carry direct on along this highway direct over the 1st roundabout At next roundabout take the 1st exit to the A1134 Straight over first roundabout (Sainsburys on left) Straight over second roundabout Turn directly at the 3rd roundabout onto Cherry Hinton Road Rustat Road is on the directly at the upper end of Cherry Hinton Road. Once you turn into Rustat Road, Abbeyfield Guesthouse is the 1st cottage on the right hand side at number two By trainGetting to and from London is straightforward. Straight trains to Liverpool Street and Kings Cross are frequent from Cambridge and take approximately 1 hour. It's also easy to reach and from Stansted Airport. There are some straight trains from Manchester and Birmingham these are cross countryside and able to be leisurely. From the north, you'll need to change at Peterborough and probably Ely.
