General Information

Plas Dinas Country House is directly two miles from Caernarfon, with its world outstanding palace, our hotel is steeped in Royal heritage. Once the family home of the Armstrong-Jones family, Lord Snowdon and Princess Margaret were frequent guests here. The guesthouse holds much of the original furniture and memorabilia. Fantastic food and wine - sumptuous sea and mountain vistas. Suppers are accessible Tuesday - Saturday whether booked day and night in good time. Check in time is strictly between 4pm and 10pm.

Transportation

Plas Dinas is located two miles outside the old town of Caernarfon. Hiking south along the A487 from Caernarfon towards Porthmadog you go via the countryside of Bontnewydd. You'll pass the Newborough Arms pub on your left. We are a third of a mile past the pub, on the brow of the hill on your right hand side and clearly signposted from either direction. As you enter the driveway you'll pass the Lodge on the left and continue down the 3 lined drive for around half a mile till you get to the cottage.
