General Information

The Oak Farm Barn was authentically built during the early 19th century, the barn is timber framed, and roofed with common Suffolk pan tiles. We have tried to be as sympathetic to the original barn as possible. Plenty of of the original oak beams are exposed, showing the wealthy oak grain and original craftsman's markings. To this we have brought handcrafted solid oak doors and a chic conventional open plan oak stair case and landing walkway. A faithful family effort over an 18 week period features seen the structure changed into a special experience for guests. The lobby floor incorporates the original floor bricks and the under floor heating provides a sincere welcome leading to 3 double or twin bedrooms, all en-suite. Disabled clients will be accommodated in the objective built twin apartment with access to wet apartment amenities. The open staircase leads to the light and graceful upstairs hall and dining region which provides an idle state feel. Every bedroom is privately styled with handmade accessories and care to detail.
