The Grant Arms Hotel, located in the very heart of Ramsbottom, Lancashire, is steeped in heritage. Initially named Top o'th Brow it became Grant Lodge when the distinguished industrialist Grant Brothers adopted it as their family home. (William and Daniel Grant were noted in heritage as being the 2 characters that Charles Dickens based his Cheeryble Brothers upon in his novel Nicholas Nickleby). In 1828 is acquired its present name and as such features been popular as a pub, meeting spot and place for plenty of local occasions.
