The Highway Inn dating 1480 is full of outstanding Character with contemporary subtle touches. We are a leading family runned and run cozy Inn, right in the middle of Burford, in-between Oxford and Cheltenham. Rivers, fantastic strolling, wildlife and prominent self-sufficient shops and boutiques. We are extremely glad to have just been presented four-star Inn status by both the AA and Visit Britain and an AA Rosette for Food. This doesn't mean fussy expensive food, just well-known pub grub, cooked properly. As one of the few Free houses left in the region we are proud of ourselves on the biggest variety of local beers which goes hand in hand with our local producers and suppliers for our food, together with a broad wine catalogue 15 wines by the crystalline. The Highway features newly reopened 2 and a half years ago, having been renovated back to its former glory, with open fires, firstrate food and cozy bedrooms, we will assist you unwind if on work or fun.
