General Information

The George is a family run welcoming pub offering lovely dining and cosy acceptable lodging in the center of Dorsets renowned Jurassic Coast. We have just been recently re-equipped for 2011 in our first floor trading districts, and whilst our nice bedrooms are not thanks to be re-equipped till early 2012 they have all had a brand-new coat of paint and propose value for money in an enticing peaceful location. The George resides a celebrated situation within the haven, allowing visitors well-known access to the fantastic facilites in and around Westbay. For the more energetic guest our Jurassic coastline proposes some fantastic strolls, not to mention quite a few wreck diving sites within simple get to. Fishing trips are also gettable from just outside our facade door. There is also a rock upper hole golf course just several hundred yards from us. Several footsteps down the highway you'll find an inner swimming pool, and throughout the summer months weekends a funfair is resident just beyond The George so there is a lot to keep the kids amused. The Historic Market Town of bridport lies just one mile away from Westbay, and the avenue market place is open each Wednesday and Saturday.
