Llangoed Hall is a genuinely astonishing building dating from 1632, Llangoed Hall formerly known as Llangoed Castle, strikes an impressive picture in the Wye Valley close to the countryside of Llyswen, in Mid Wales. Set within 17 acres of elite panoramic gardens, it's the home from home' that you would expect from your ultimate friend's Country House'. Admire the tranquillity and stillness that Llangoed can offer you. Suites that are individualy colored with Elanbach fabrics, extremely marvellous wines and delicate foods sourced locally to suit all palates including Fruit and Vegetables from our own Organic Gardens. Activities to suit all age groups able to be arranged from Walking to Mountain Biking, Fly Fishing to Horse Riding. Llangoed Hall is approximately taking the time to unwind and enjoy life! Please take into account that we have a dress code while in our breakfast room whereby Gentlemen are respectfully requested to wear either a Jacket or Shirt and Tie and may we respectfully remind you that we do not allow Jeans, Polo Shirts or Training Shoes.
Transportation
After crossing the Severn Bridge (old or new) continue on the M4 till mix 24. Leave the highway here and take the A449 towards Monmouth for about 13 miles. Then take the A40 to Abergavenny, passing the Raglan Castle on the right hand side. When you arrive to a roundabout in the suburbs of Abergavenny, follow the signs for Brecon, peaceful on the A40. About seven miles out of Abergavenny you'll come to the countryside of Crickhowell and after another 3-4 miles you'll come to the Cider Mill restaurant and a turning on the right hand side signposted to Builth Wells (A479A470)Turn right here and continue on this mountain highway for about 13 miles to the countryside of Talgarth. Keep following the signs for Builth Wells on the A470 (you will also go via the countryside of Bronllys) and after about four miles you'll come to the countryside of Llyswen. From Llyswen continue North on the A470 towards Builth Wells and Llangoed Hall is around one mile out of the countryside of Llyswen on the right hand side. We have a sign at the upper of the drive.
