Transportation

To Brecon from London, Southern England through the Severn Crossing and from Newport...Leave the M4 at Junction 24, Newport East, and follow the signs towards Monmouth (A449). After approximately 14 miles turn left at Raglan to combine the A40 to Abergavenny and pass through Abergavenny and Crickhowell and onto Brecon. Just before Brecon, the A40 branches into a dual-carriageway which terminates in an ample roundabout. Turn left at this roundabout and take the city by-pass to the following spacious roundabout where the A40 meets the A470. Turn right into the city, following the signs for Llanfaes and Brecon Town Centre for approximately a mile. When you cross the bridge over the River Usk, at the traffic lights turn immediately left into a narrow highway, signposted towards Cradoc, then after two hundreds meters turn right into Castle Square and the hotel's parking. To Brecon from Birmingham, the Midlands and the North...Take the M5 and then the M50 to Ross-on-Wye and then the A449 to Monmouth. 9 miles past Monmouth, branch right at Raglan to combine the A40 to Abergavenny and pass through Abergavenny and Crickhowell and onto Brecon. Just before Brecon, the A40 branches into a dual-carriageway which terminates in an ample roundabout. Turn left at this roundabout and take the city by-pass to the following wide roundabout where the A40 meets the A470. Turn right into the city for approximately a mile, following the signs for Llanfaes and Brecon Town Centre. When you cross the bridge over the River Usk, at the traffic lights turn immediately left into a narrow highway, signposted towards Cradoc, then after two hundreds meters turn right into Castle Square and the hotel's car parking. To Brecon from Cardiff, Swansea and West Wales From Carmarthen, follow the A40 till it hits an ample roundabout outside Brecon where the A40 meets the A470. From Swansea and Cardiff, approach on the A470 till its hits the same roundabout. At this roundabout, follow the signs for Llanfaes and the Town Centre and continue for approximately a mile. After crossing the bridge over the River Usk, at the traffic lights turn immediately left into a narrow highway, signposted towards Cradoc, and after two hundreds meters turn right, into Castle Square and the hotel's car parking. You'll see the guesthouse and the palace from the bridge as you cross the River Usk. It is entirely a landmark!
