The Old House is a character, listed sixteenth century building. A family run certificated holiday hotel conveniently located for Braintree city center, train station and buses. Fifteen miles from Stansted and near Freeport Shopping Village where there are also restaurants, 10 pin bowling and cineworld. The city center able to also porvide a big variety of restaurants and bars whilst surrounding are Cressing Temple Barns, Hedingham Castle and Coggeshall. Convenient for the Fennes estate and Gosfield Hall and numerous other wedding venues. All our roomy bedrooms have freeview tv and beverage trays. Our peculiar 4 placard suite can offer something sprcial with the option of a De Luxe package of bunchs of flowers, champagne, fruit, chocolates, biscuits & breakfast catered in the apartment. First floor apartments are accessible and our biggest apartment able to accommodate a family of up to 5. There is a lot of car park on spot and mature terraces are somewhere to unbend in the summer months whilst our hall provides a log fire to unbend in facade of in the winter. Independent Broadband access is obtainable in the hall. A little, privately-owned function apartment is obtainable which is good for a range of unique events and conferences, Evening meals are provided as are fast lunchtime lunches for visitor in a hurry.
