The Mousetrap Inn is a little family run Inn, embedded in the conventional Cotswold countryside, Bourton-on-the-Water. The countryside features become known as the "Venice" of the Cotswolds with its bridge spanned river meandering via the countryside heart. It's the best ground from which to discover the nice nearby country and is leading with walkers and cyclists. The Inn is a traditionally run, Cotswold stone building with heritage dating back to the structure of the railways in the eighteenth Century. Serving celebrated, home made food together with fantastic, locally brewed authentic ales and a local lager, there is something to please still the most discerning palate. The lodging includes 10 en room suites which are made up of a blend of twins and doubles. It also features a little apartment which features its own hall, kitchenette and wide bathroom. 3 of the suites are on the 1st floor providing easier access. There are parking places for all of the dwellers at the back of the Inn. The food we cater is all sourced locally with animal welfare at the forefront of our minds. The chickens and the eggs are self-sufficient collection, the pork is Old Spot, a local rare breed, the fish is from sustainable sources and the lamb and beef are reared on local farms. The Mousetrap features greeted plenty of clients to Bourton-on-the-Water during its 150 year heritage, from the railroad workers that opened the region to steam travel to the novelist Agatha Christie - as legend features it!!
