General Information

La Tour is in Blackpool city center, an simple wander to the Winter Gardens & Opera House, Blackpool Tower, the Promenade, coast & piers, the recent Debenhams and stretched mall center and most of the city's pastime and transportation centres. We have a two night minimum visit all year round. Please contact us directly whether our pages show no availability. We are open some Winter Weekends (Jan/Feb) and then each day from 11 March till five November. All online bookings are for apartment only (except our Christmas & two Night DBB specific offer). Meals able to be added at check-in or choose from the Booking Extras. (Charges apply). Most suites have freshly been modernised and redecorated; all have en rooms (toilet & shower, sorry no baths), towels & soap, digital TV, facilities of making tea/coffee, hair dryer & alarm clock. Suites are serviced daily. We have a elevator to all floors and a wheelchair ramp at the facade of the site. Some apartments are wheelchair available (triples only). We have some smoking apartments possible on the 2nd floor, these require negotiating some stairs and are not good for those with mobility problems. Triples & twins are the larger apartments, then doubles & singles. We are within five mins stroll of numerous auto gardens (various charges) please take into account we do not have our own. We are fully certificated & give amusement in season (minimum numbers required). We are accredited as a three Star Guest Accommodation from the Visit Britain Quality in Tourism department for 2009 and 2010. Blackpool airport (10 minutes drive) features national & international flights; Blackpool North railway station is approximately five mins stroll. Other sights include: Blackpool Football Club Premier League (5 minutes by taxi); Blackpool Zoo & Dinosaur Safari (10 minutes by bus); Grosvenor & Paris Casino's, Blackpool Pleasure Beach & Sandcastle Waterworld (20 minutes by tram); Winter Gardens & Opera House; Louis Tussaud's Waxworks & Golden Mile, Grand Theatre & Blackpool Sea Life Centre (5 minutes walk).
