Welcome to Hallsannery, vacation cottages in charming North Devon in the grounds of an early Victorian farmstead estate with 50 acres of terraces, park, forest and pasture near Bideford in North Devon. The 3 cottages, Gardener's Cottage (sleeps up to 8), Coachman's Cottage (sleeps up to 5), and the Chauffeur's Flat (sleeps 2) are obtainable to rent all year round. There is use of the major cottage grounds, lawns and tennis court and there are fantastic views and 11 acres of forest and a nature trail. Not far from: within 10 minute drive, the surfing and sandy coastline of Westward Ho! is three miles away, Bideford is a famous heart for tourism with boutiques, restaurants, the Kathleen and May and Burton Art Gallery. The boat to Lundy Island sails regularly from Bideford. The South West waterside path able to be accessed at Westward Ho! and different points along the beach. The Tarka Trail features 30 miles of cycling through country and estuary, there is an entry half a mile from Hallsannery. The fishing countrysides of Appledore and Instow, with its secure sandy coastline, both well-known places for a meal or a wander. Within thirty minutes drive, Great Torrington: the home of Dartington Crystal and the Royal Horticultural Society's park at Rosemoor. Braunton Burrows: a six mile by 2 mile sand dune system and the core of the UNESCO Biosphere reserve is 15 miles away.
