General Information

We provide 3 homely recently remodelled rooms; one twin apartment and 2 double suites, every having tv, hair dryers and tea/coffee making amenities. One of the double apartments features privy facilities and the other is en apartment, both looking over rolling farmland. The twin apartment is en-suite with the majority fantastic, uninterrupted vista to the beach and Lindisfarne (Holy Island). A big variety of breakfast is obtainable to suit everyone's taste using locally produced ingredients. The farm features it is own independent collection hens under the RSPCA's 'Freedom Foods' scheme. We are located two. five miles from the ancient market place city of Belford, which was once a stopping off point for coaches on their way to Edinburgh along the Great North Road. Situated un the centre for most market place cities in north Northumberland, we are 15 miles from Berwick-upon-Tweed with its prominent Elizabethan ramparts, 16 miles from Alnwick, noted for the Alnwick Gardens and Alnwick Castle made great by Harry Potter movies. Detchant is within a short distance of all seven Northumbrian Castles, Lindisfarne and only a stone's throw from the opulent coastline where nice white sandy beaches await you.
