Nestling high on the North Pennines, in a district of prominent genuine beauty, this historic sixteenth century training inn proposes a conventional sincere reception. We cater prime, lately cooked meals using locally sourced products, well maintained Real ales and wines and spirits. We provide cozy, recently refurbished en-suite bedrooms in what were once the training houses. Transportation

From West: Take A66 towards Scotch Corner, turn off at signs for Bowes Village. At Junction, turn right and then left into countryside. At mini roundabout, turn right and we are 50yds on right hand side. From East, Take A66 towards BroughCumbria, after 16miles turn off at sign for Bowes Village. Follow highway to mini roundabout and go direct over the roundabout. Guesthouse is 50yds on right hand side.
