General Information

A heavenly B & B in the very heart of the idyllic village of Bampton on the edge of the Cotswolds. It's near Burford, Faringdon and Witney and close to the top reaches of the River Thames. We are proud of ourselves on being entertaining and friendly and providing wonderful food, delightful suites and amenities. Wheelgate House has just been re-equipped. It features a light and fresh breakfast room where breakfast is catered. Outside there is a vivid park with a patio and sitting region. The hosts are animal admirers and have a pet dog. Bampton is located in West Oxfordshire, near Burford, Faringdon and Witney and close to the top reaches of the River Thames. Boats are accessible for hire at Radcot and Lechlade, only several miles away. There are countryside pubs serving food at lunchtime and 1 serving food in the evening, a coffee cottage and different take-aways in Bampton itself whilst the nearby area features a big variety of state inns and restaurants that we will be pleased to discuss and reccommend.
