Rescued by Robert and Rachel Thompson in the year 2003 this listed grange now provides dainty lodging in the center of County Antrim. Whatever the reason for your stay, on vacation or on work, Marlagh Lodge unites the finest of the antique - luxurious antiques, the best bedlinen, lots of books and attractive objets - with all the needs of the 21st Century visitor. There are 3 roomy bedrooms and although customers may prefer to unwind with a famous book the small "essentials" of up-to-date life are silent there - discrete TVs, straight dial telephones and Wi-Fi I-net access. Our bathrooms are full of superb goodies from fluffy towels and bathrobes to indulgent lotions and potions secured to produce you feel indeed pampered! Breakfast at Marlagh Lodge will surely set you up for the day! There’s fresh fruit, fresh bread, cereals and muesli to beginning off with, then treats such as ‘Marlagh Lodge Tummy Warmer’ - creamy porridge with Bushmills whiskey, brown sugar and cream. We only use one of the best ingredients in our Ulster Fry - local sausages and bacon, conventional soda bread and potato bread and local self-sufficient collection eggs or you may prefer something a small lighter - poached eggs on toasted soda bread or scrambled eggs with our fishmonger’s own fine smoked salmon. Marlagh Lodge is precisely 3 miles from the very heart of Ballymena with its best transport lines and only a short ride from both Belfast International Airport, Belfast City Airport and the ferry ports of Belfast and Larne. Marlagh makes the best ground from which to discover the greatly ultimate that Northern Ireland can offer. The astonishing North Antrim Coast and the esteemed Glens of Antrim are less than thirty minutes away. The vivid Coast Road with its breath-taking vistas leads to Northern Irelands only World Heritage Site - the Giant's Causeway.
