General Information

The Monsal Head Hotel is located facing the good Monsal Dale in the very heart of the Peak District National Park. It's 3 miles from the market place city of Bakewll, with Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall a 10 minute drive. We cater scenic, just prepared food and our portions are highly hearty, we have a big variety of wines by the bottle or glass and all of our ales are cask conditioned and nicely maintained. We cater a full seasonal carte menu plus specials carte menu from 12 O'clock each day and whether the weather is typically british, then you can have a rest by one of our open fires with a peerless book and maybe even a malt whisky! There are a lot of strolls of varying lengths starting from the inn making it a charming strolling center and our apartments have marvelous views out over the Monsal Dale and Longstone Edge.

Leave M1 at mix (29) in direction A617, Chesterfield and combine staying on for 479 yd. Enter the roundabout and leave at the second exit onto A617. Visit on A617 for three. 68 ml. You'll enter Chesterfield. Follow the A617 for 1. 48 ml then enter the roundabout and leave at the first. exit onto Markham Road (A619). Leave Markham Road (A619) and head straightforward onto Baslow Road (A619). Visit on for 8. 40 ml, leaving Markham Road (A619) heading straightforward onto Baslow Road (A619). Then leave Baslow Road (A619) and turn right into A6020. Visit on for two. 36 ml. You'll enter Bakewell. finnaly leave and head straightforward onto Greaves Lane (B6465). Visit on for 1. 11 ml untill you get to the Monsal Head Hotel.
