General Information

The Dinton Hermit is a state Inn located in small countryside of Ford in Buckinghamshire, near Thame, Princes Risborough and Aylesbury. There are 13 bedrooms, a restaurant, a brasserie with some locally brewed and well maintained beers and the amenity of an open fire. There are a choice of suites accessible including six Barn Rooms which are recently refurbished double suites in the Courtyard, 5 Regency Rooms which are exceptional double suites in the major building and 2 luxurious King Charles apartments which are the 4 placard rooms, also in the major building. For suppers, snacks or a fast lunch on propose is a variety of quality dishes, with ingredients sourced locally wherever possible. The brasserie is a restful and hospitable site to pop in for a fast drink or appreciate an evening opposite the open fire, with a meal provided by our kitchen team. A big range of wines, draft lagers, locally brewed genuine ales, and spirits are gettable from the brasserie. There is a wonderful big garden which is an excellent venue for couples, friends and families on a sunny day. Ford is a tranquil hamlet in the midst of the Aylesbury Vale district of Buckinghamshire. The countryside features several houses, historic farms and the conventional countryside pub - The Dinton Hermit Inn. Buckinghamshire is a fashionable site to stay for short breaks. In addition to Aylesbury and Thame surrounding, London is only 45 mins away on the train from Haddenham and Thame Parkway station while Oxford and Milton Keynes are only a 30 minute drive away.

Transportation

From THE M25. Exit the M25 at Junction 20 ont the A41 in the direction of Aylesbury. Follow the A41 onto Tring Street (A41) entering Aylesbury. Go Over the roundabout onto High Street (A41). Turn left onto Exchange Street (A41) and then at the roundabout go direct over onto Friarage Road (A41). Turn left onto Oxford Road (A418). At the bend take a left onto Portway Road. At the crossroads turn left into Ford. Take your 1st left onto Water Lane.
