Fascadail Guest House Arrochar

General Information

Fascadail proposes deluxe Bed and Breakfast lodging within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Guests to Loch Lomond choose Arrochar for its fine views and main tranquil location. The thriving countryside of Arrochar nestles on the shores of Loch Long with the noble Arrochar Alps in the background yet only fourty minutes from Glasgow. Fascadail House was constructed in the mid 19th century around 170 years ago. It's embedded in its own property, enjoying dainty loch and mountain vistas, including the craggy Ben Arthur (The Cobbler). To try and facilitate maintain this lovely proximity we are part of the Green Tourism Business scheme. Whenever possible we purchase from local producers and try to plan our auto usage. The park is wildlife lively and we grow our own vegetables, fruit and bunchs of flowers. Steeped in heritage with plenty of strolls and hill climbs not far from: Glen Douglas, Ben Arthur and miles of wood trails via the good Arrochar Alps, with Inveraray, Loch Lomond and Loch Fyne just a short ride away. Fascadail is a ideal base for tourism, cycling, strolling, climbing, hole golf and sight seeing including visits to National Trust terraces.

Transportation

From the South, head up the A82 past Loch Lomond. At Tarbet go direct on onto the A83. After 1. five miles you're in Arrochar. Take the left turning A814 towards Helensburgh. We are .5 miles on the left hand side - take the turning immediately before the Church.
