General Information

This fascinating 18 bedroomed, non smoking Bed and Breakfast is completely situated within Ambleside between the butiques and lake Windermere - just a short meander to either. Many private car park. Breakfast is catered 8. 30 to 9. 30am from a comprehensive carte menu of locally sourced products and home baked goods. A large brasserie is open all day also serving cappuccinos, espresso etc and light lunches. The inn currently features a four Star Highly Commended rating from the AA plus an egg cup breakfast award and four Star Silver Award from Visit Britain. Individualy colored bedrooms, all en-suite and provided to a high standard, some with thermal baths, balconies or 4 placard. Facade overlooking suites have super vistas of Loughrigg and encircling fells. Big garden with seating region. Spare time facilities and use of a fishing licence are attainable to our dear guests. Kids are welcome whether sharing one of our family suites with parents. Sorry no pets. Transportation

From the South, leave the M6 at mix 36 (signposted A590 South Lakes) and follow the A591 through Windermere. As you enter Ambleside go direct on at the traffic lights, do not take the signposted left fork. The Fisherbeck is 300 yards on the right. From the North, follow the A591 through Ambleside countryside towards Windermere. The guesthouse is on the left.
