General Information

Akköy is a tranquil and antique mountain countryside, situated approximately 11 kilometers from Urgup, the hiking center of Cappadocia. This antique settlement hosted Hittites, Asurians, Seljuks and Ottomans in its long heritage. Akkoy Evleri were renewed by naïve architect Mehmet Güleç, born and raised in Akköy whilst the countryside was silent fully inhabited back in 1960s.
