Piman Pu Villa Krabi

General Information

Piman Pu is a newly completed Thai fashion timber free-standing coast facade bungalow. It's inspired by Jim Thompson's cottage made from selected architectural fittings, with terracotta roof. The bungalow is embedded in its own tropical park filled with orchids, frangipani and bougainvillea; and further fruit orchard with mango trees, bananas and jack fruit. The cottage is elevated and generously proportioned to maximise the sea breezes and vistas. It looks to Koh Lanta from the terrace and the major king size bedroom. The 2nd king size bedroom looks to the nice jungle covered mountain. The third queen size bedroom features park vistas to the sea and the mountain. The cottage features an furnished kitchen, two bathrooms with hot water, and a broad balcony. The cottage is linked to mains power. Koh Pu is around 18 kilometres from Koh Phi Phi. Koh Pu is the name awarded to the northern part of the island also known as Koh Jum. The bungalow is right on the coast which is virtually privately-owned. The cottage comes with an Apple Macbook and satellite internet, DVD player and iPod speakers. Linen is catered. Koh Pu is silent off the beaten track away from the rapidly developing treveller destination of Krabi. Yet, getting to Piman Pu is an attractive experience. The boat crossing from Laem Kruad pier is approximately half an hour. Once on the island you are able to take a day tour to Bamboo Island National Park where you are able to snorkel (snorkel gear provided) on the reef in the warm bright Andaman Sea, and maybe head to Phi Phi for an adorable snack on the coast. Or whether you feel less energetic, you are able to spend your time relaxing - swimming, reading and eating Thai food, listening to the lapping sea.

Transportation

Fly to Krabi or Phuket. Krabi Airport is catered by regular connections from Bangkok (Thai, Air Asia and others), Kuala Lumpur (Air Asia), and Singapore (Tiger). Phuket to Krabi is three hours by bus. From Krabi you'll be met by our personnel, who will help you with transport to Koh Pu. The idyllic 30 minute boat crossing is from Laem Kruat pier - approximately thirty minutes from Krabi airport. The trip to Koh Pu is an adorable and delightful one.
