A Casa da Eira is an antique farm cottage from 1920 renovated in classical style in year 2001. We are at fourty minutes from Ourense and ten mins from the Parador de Santo Estevo. The lodging features liberal common space, a park overlooking south and a veranda from which one able to enjoy a vista on the River Sil Canyon. The common space invites to read, share the desk and exchange experiences with other tourists or to have a Scrabble game at nightfall. The 3 suites drawing room and dinning apartment with open fire on the 1st floor and the 2 reading apartments on the intermediate and ground floor allow every visitor to find hisher spot and encourage to profit from the independent cafeteria-self-service with lovely trade tea and coffee. In September 2005 A Casa da Eira achieved the quality certification Q Calidad Turistica. A Casa da Eira is located in Galicia, in the province of Ourense, in the middle of the historic district of The Ribeira Sacra with its sizeable number of Romanesque monasteries. Our countryside, Albergueria, is situated at the top part of the River Sil Canyon and encircled by hundred-year-old chestnut woodland. Numerous activities able to be undertaken in the close to vicinage such as cultural trips, hill strolling, canoeing, climbing swimming in the surrounding dam, mountain biking, adventure sports, boat excursions via the River Sil Canyon.

Coming from Santiago: You will arrive on the highway N-525 (in Santiago you 1st take the motorway in direction of Ourense till Castro Dozon where the motorway ends and you have to receive back to the highway N-525). Approaching Ourense you take the 1st issue (even before arriving to the town) and you'll cross a bridge over the river Mino. Follow the highway till you see the sign Terra de Trives on your right and turn right. You'll come to a roundabout and quiet continue the indications of Terra de Trives till you finally arrive on the highway OU-536. After 7 kilometres you'll come to another roundabout, turn left in direction of Luintra, Casa Rural Albergueria. After 13km you will arrive to Luintra (in case of doubt follow the Paradores indications) and take again in direction of Casa Rural Albergueria. Then continue another 11km on the major highway and you'll arrive to the countryside of Albergueria where is located A Casa da Eira. Follow the indications in the countryside. The entire drive takes approximately 2h00mn from the airport of Santiago. Coming from Vigo: You will arrive on the motorway A-52 approaching Ourense capital. Take the issue OURENSE-centro which takes you to the N-120. Once arrived to the city of Ourense (near to the Central Bus Station) follow the indications to the heart and continue on the avenue Avenida de Marin. Cross the bridge over the river Mino and at the next roundabout turn left in direction of Castro Caldelas, Puebla de Trives, Manzaneda (Ou-536). After 7 kilometres you'll come to another roundabout, turn left in direction of Luintra, Casa Rural Albergueria. After 13km you will arrive to Luintra (in case of doubt follow the Paradores indications) and take again in direction of Casa Rural Albergueria.
