The Villa La Jamisa is situated in Mijas-Pueblo (between Malaga and Marbella), a pleasant little city in classic Spanish fashion and as white city an accepted treveller attraction. Restaurants and shopping are within short distance. Ideal departing point for coast vacations or excursions. The Atlantic is also just 1 hour away. Entertaining Facilities: More than 60 courses in golf led to the name Costa del Golf. But that is by far not all what that beach proposes: Did you know that the unexampled horse race track in South Spain is only fifteen mins away and that the unique oval bullfight arena is in Mijas? Surely all water sports, like swimming, surfing etc. are possible. Bike rental, fishing, hole golf, touring, horse-back riding, jogging, miniature hole golf, outdoor pool, tennis, water garden, are further probabilities.

Transportation

Only fifteen mins by auto from Malaga airport (AGP): At the airport take the exit to CADIZ (NOT to Malaga). right after the brewery San Miguel. This will take you onto a 3-lane highway. After approximately two, five kilometers turnright on to the highway N 340 A7 marked ALGECIRASBenalmadena (blue sign) and follow it for approx. ten km. You'll pass Torremolinos and Benalmadena. Do NOT take exit 217 BenalmadenaMijas. Visit on A7N340 costa, and take exit 214 to FUENGIROLAAlgeciras for just 400 m. Then, take exit 213 to MIJASFuengirola. This will take you in a vast curve to a roundabout, where you go right onto A387 to MIJAS. Go uphill for four kilometers till there is a BP petrol-station on the left hand side and a little roundabout. Go left in the roundabout (direction Mijas centro) for NO MORE than fifty meters. Produce a sharp right turn in the following roundabout onto a steep privately-owned highway and follow the yellow sign LA JAMISA (DO NOT take the social highway to AlhaurinCoin).
