Maipez Hotel Gran Canaria

General Information

The Maipez Rural Hotel is located in La Calzada, in the north of Gran Canaria, at only ten minutes from the capital and fifteen mins from the airport, it's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy what natures got to propose us. The guesthouse is an old-time canarian grange built at the start of the past century. It's watched by a 200 year antique laurel tree which features been reconstructed taking attention of every detail. There are eight double suites and 1 of them with a balcony, 2 suites, a drawing room, a breakfast room, a restaurant and a portico. Each room is named after a canarian city, all are offered with a shower, WC, TV, phone, heating and above all pleasant vistas, being every one nonpareil and original. The decor features been cared for in depth so that the client able to feel suitable and at home, constantly maintaining the rustic flavour for those who want to enjoy tranquillity and quietness in the midst of nature itself. It's perfect for disconnecting from everything and everyone and a time for resting from the busy world in which we live. Silence, nature and cozy atmosphere will be assured while you are staying. The outside restaurant is offering the chance of catering groups, guests, family reunions or work conferences, where you are able to taste our tasty meals while watching nature. Right beside the guesthouse we able to find La Calzada Club. It counts on three clay tennis courts and 18 padel courts. Our dear guests can to use these service for a reduced price.

Transportation

To arrive to the guesthouse from the airport you have to take the motorway GC-1 towards Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, in the north. Drive for approximately 18km till you enter the town. In the right hand side youll uncover a desviation to Tafira in the GC-3, just the following entry after the hospital. Take it and you'll enter a tunnel that will take you to Secadero. Take that desviation on the right and keep on driving without diverting for another five mins. Then you'll see another desviation on the right which will take you to La Calzada (GC-310). Go downwards for 1km and then take the 1st on the left, entering La Calzada (GC-320). You will arrive to the inn 500m upwards, after the narrowing of the highway. Entire: 28km, 20-25 minutesFrom the Bus Station in Las Palmas: take bus 302; it stops right in the entrance hall of the inn.
