Mas del Rei is an old-time farmhouse dating from the 11th century in the borough of El Matarrana (Calaceite). Located in an amiable natural setting of 25 hectares of forests, grassland and olive and almond groves, it's the ideal site for getting away from it all, far from the fuss of town life. The cottage has just been reconstructed by its 4 proprietors and fitted out as a hotel whilst respecting its original architecture to the full. Within its 800 m2, the guesthouse features 7 visitor suites (one apartment and 6 double rooms), every of them matchless and original, with their own entrance; a library in the previous kitchen; a wine cellar; a hall where visitors are able to unwind in tranquillity and quiet; a restaurant that serves good cuisine cooked on the site using natural make from the farmhouse's own kitchen garden; a patio where clients able to savour the cool; open-air spots where you are able to sit in quiet contemplation and allow all your senses to draw in inspiration from the natural proximity.
