General Information

At the crossroads of heritage and antique legends rises the white and grand Arcos de la Frontera, declared a National Historic Landmark and a piece of artwork in itself. Just several kilometres from this countryside lays the Finca Barranco, an amiable vacation complex that mixes the richness of the hills with the rolling farm lands and olive groves groves. The best assets of the Finca Barranco is the state estate Molino Nuestra Senora de la Luz, a conventional Andalucian farm which dates back to 1754 and catered as an olive oil mill. In what was once the antique mill and today is a restaurant, weary tourists will be can appreciate the most tasty dishes of conventional Mediterranean cuisine, ready with products grown on the site. This building complex adds several apartments and ensuite houses to the farm, some attached to the major building. The others are scattered around the complex and were once used as accommodation for the mill workers. Both the apartments and the free houses have been renewed and redecorated in a captivating and classical style. The gentle climate of the Sierra in Cadiz, with average temperatures close to 20C, is perfect for activities like tourism, open-air photography, horseback riding, mountain biking, swimming, hunting, water sports, hole golf and plenty of more. Visitors able to enjoy such activities and commune with nature all year round. The serenity and taste of the scenery promise long-lasting visit, far from the stress and distractions of the towns. The Saloon is furnished with billiards, and in winter and fall, when the temperatures are a small lower, the visitors able to sit closed to the fire site and enjoy a glass of wine watching the flames consuming the forest. This apartment is adorned with some highly picturesque artefacts of the past and it's a joy to gaze at all the various things. A mini - brasserie and tv are at our visitor's disposition in this saloon. The conference room is furnished with tv and video and able to be leased by groups and enterprises. Transportation

The entrance hall of the Finca Barranco is situated on the left side of the Arcos-El Bosque (A-372) highway at the kilometric point five, seven .The entry is found shortly after the 2 lane highway expands to 3 lanes (the third being a leisurely traffic lane on your side)Please be careful when making your left turn into our driveway, as traffic may be coming from the opposite lane. We advise stopping on the leisurely traffic lane opposite the entry to yield oncoming and following traffic and crossing when your can. Visibility will be no problem. This hotel is situated on a district denominated Los Barrancos at the end of a two kilometre privately-owned highway, which is marked on the map below. This paved highway is in beautiful condition, though we advise driving it slowly whilst enjoying the idyllic landscape.
