Thanda, meaning 'love' in Zulu, is an expression of the union of Zulu culture, wildlife, romantic decadence and exclusivity. Safaris in open game viewing vehicles are conducted exclusively for Thanda customers on the virtually malaria-free 6000 ha reserve. Thanda Private Game Reserve is a festival of the Zulu persons and their wealthy culture. Vula Zulu, a conventional homestead at the entrance hall to Thanda is the setting for visitors to have the privilege of watching between 50 and 100 conventional warriors performing age-old war dancing rites.
