Transportation

By CarThe major acces is Via Rapida. Take the Exit to go to the Hospital and follow the signs to reach the inn (20 minutes). By railThere was a cog railway in facilities on Madeira between the years of 1893 and 1943. This line once carried passengers from Monte and Funcahl to Terreoro de Luta. Today, this line is serviced by a cable auto, in spot of the rail facilities. By busAs may be expected, the spot of Madeira proposes many alternatives to travel by bus to surrounding destinations. Passengers can simply disembark for Monte and any other well-known destination on the island. There is a major line that runs from the town to the airport; the journey from the airport to the town's center takes 15 mins.
