On leaving Faro airport follow the sign to Faro but dont go into Faro -you will then uncover a blue sign for Portimao on the N125 highway -follow this till you see the blue sign A22 IP1 to Portimao-dont go quick otherwise you may miss certain U-turns. Once on the highway A22 IP1 you are able to go faster till you get to the Albufeira turn off at mix 9.
