General Information

The Bastion is situated centrally, with Oslo's major mall center a mere 10 minutes stroll away. Its vicinity to the central station does mean, however, that at night there are sometimes some rather seedy characters on the streets round the guesthouse.

This hotel comes very advised for its indeed enjoyable fashion and cosy, friendly atmosphere. Though its peaceful location is practical, it's a pity it's not slightly more salubrious, specifically late at night. Our hotel is perfectly non smoking in all apartments.

This is an old-time building, with a dark grey front like those of its neighbours.

The foyer is greatly pleasing, with its polished forest floor, cozy leather seating and crackling log fire in cold weather. It's little, but there is a lot of apartment for visitors to sit down in the ensuite breakfast district.

The restaurant is also classical and cosy in fashion.

The suites are specially enjoyable. They are furnished in English country-house fashion, with some floral soft amenities and interesting prints on the walls. The size of the apartments does vary, but on average they are medium-sized.
