General Information

Scandic Hamar is an hour's drive from Oslo Gardermoen airport. Hamar is popular for its 1994 Winter Olympic arenas. Our amicable guesthouse is in a central but tranquil area, only ten minutes' stroll from the downtown, and is one of the biggest, most flexible conference centers in Norway. Rebuilt in year 2001, the conference facilities able to be used for almost any occasion, with a holding capacity of 1150 and the most modern audiovisual equipping. There is self-sufficient parking zone for over 500 autos outside the guesthouse, which is well-known with work travelers for its free access, warm atmosphere adn tranquil proximity. Our restaurant, B??sen, serves all sorts of meals, from plain one-course light dishes to more elaborate meals. We also provide banquets and catering. Neighboring to the restaurant is the Sluffa Bar, where you can have a rest with friends and have a drink after your meal, read a book or watch TV. Surrounding are museums, the Vikingskipet Arena, the Ankerskogen swimming pool, courses in golf, skiing amenities and much more.
