Mexico has one of the largest tourism business network in the world according to the World Tourism Organization. In 2005 it was the Seventh main destination worldwide, being by far the only country in Latin America that was in the top 25. Mexico's middle or lower class usually promotes national tourism, compared to the middle and higher class that travels considerably Europe and the United States but also visit Asia and South America. Factually Mexico is the 23rd tourism spender in the world, again being the highest by this rate in Latin America. Tourism in Mexico is a very large business industry. The most notable tourist attractios are the ancient Meso-American ruins, and surely popular beach resorts. The nation's mild climate and unique culture – a mix of the European and the Meso-American – also make Mexico very attractive and full of misteries . The peak tourists seasons in Mexico are during December and during the mid-Summer. Beach resorts are popular with vacationing college students from the United States. The majority of tourists to Mexico come from the United States and Canada and a little less from Europe and Asia. There is also a domestic tourism trade as a growing well-do middle class begins to vacation within the bounds of their own country.
