The Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz in Gozo opened its doors for the 1st time in 1999, when its Maltese owner personally controlled it. In year 2001, the Kempinski Hotels Group took over the hotel’s reins. The spa’s existing amenities remained unchanged under the hotel’s recent management, but under Kempinski management the Ayurvedic heart was introduced.
