The hotel was completed renovated in 2006, in authentic Mediterranean architecture, using local materials such as lavic stone from Etna and hand-crafted Sicilian terracotta. Specific care features been presented to the spas cuisine with 2 restaurants; LArcipelago, open for dinner, appreciating a superb yet friendly ambience with an extensive balcony overlooking the sea, serving Mediterranean and Sicilian cuisine, and Il Cappero, the perfect choice for those who prefer a more casual ambience. The hall brasserie FIl Faraglione enjoys a scenic balcony overlooking the Faraglioni of Lipari and serves cocktail and drinks, with live music in the evening.
The brasserie Gazebo by the pool serves refreshing beverages, cocktails and light lunches. 2 outdoors pool, one with hydromassage and waterfall, park and big gardens perfect for soothing and taking in the nearby fantastic views and sunset over the islands of Alicudi and Filicudi. Visitors able to enjoy a personal furnished rocky bathing region with straight descent from the guesthouse. The SPA newly opened, proposes a broad variety of overlook and body treatments, aimed to re-stabilize wellness and balance the mind, body and spirit. The SPA also consists of an inner pool, sauna and Turkish bath. Congress amenities are compound of apartment equiped with present-day audio-visual equipping, hosting a maximum of 160 persons.

The hospitable, deluxe "L’Arcipelago" restaurant caters conventional Sicilian and Aeolian menu and a wealthy smorgasbord serving home-made pastries.
The "Cappero" restaurant (open from June to September), serving grilled meat
and fish peculiarities, and is the perfect choice for those who prefer a more casual
atmosphere.
Lounge brasserie "il Faraglione" enjoys a scenic balcony overlooking memorable
sunsets and serves cocktails and drinks, with live music evenings.
The “Gazebo” brasserie serves refreshing beverages, cocktails and lights lunches served
by the pool.

Location Information

Vulcano, one of the 7 Aeolian islands, located north of Sicily, is the nearest to the Sicilian beach, Milazzo, which is situated just 17 nautical miles away. The island brags rare beauty and unspoilt nature with lush vegetation, natural mud pools and sulphur steam and the warm seas of Levante coast.
The hotel’s spectacular serene location brags vistas over the whole Aeolian Islands; Lipari, the biggest of the islands (located at only 5 minutes by hydrofoil from the hotel) with its magnificent Faraglioni, and the islands of Salina, Stromboli, Panarea, Alicudi and Filicudi, all within free access by hydrofoil.
