General Information

The Franciscus relais is in the centre of Verona, right next to the Arena, the renowned Roman amphitheater. The Franciscus is purposed in the Art Nouveau fashion and was constructed in the 1790s by the majestic family as their deluxe municipal residence and subsequently changed into a relais without losing its architectural uniqueness and value. Transportation

By auto: from the A4 motorway Venezia-Milano or from the A22 Modena-Brennero, take the Verona Sud exit. After the exit go direct ahead for two Km till Porta Nuova. After Porta Nuova, take the 2nd st on the left (on the 2nd traffic light to Via Valverde). From there direct on until the end turn right (via Scalzi) 1st right again you'll be here. The distance between the highway exit to franciscus is approximately 3Km and it takes 78 mins. By train: We our at the foot of the railway station which able to be reached on foot or by bus. Directions: outside the station accros the park in facade of you direction church and follow the traffic light. Accross the central street and keep Via Citta di Nimes everytime direct on, traffic light idem than Simoni piazza. Keep the left in Via Casa and Via Scalzi the 1st right you'll be here. By plane: The Valerio Catullo airport of Verona is fifteen km away from Franciscus. Regular busses leave form and to Porta Nuova Railway Station according to flights arrivals and departures. The same from Montichiari airport Brescia but too far (take approx. 1h. by schuttle bus)Standard Check-in only from 5pm to seven. 30pm the reception desk is open from 8 to 13. 30 and from 17 to 19.
